Nick has taken the next step as a winemaker with these wines, which truly reflect the individual vineyard site from which the grapes are picked. The way he achieves this is by being the hands that craft the wines, from pruning to foot stomping viognier.
Nick began his career after seeing the lifestyle his father was living with food and wine. It took 18 years to realise this, because of the chores of hoeing weeds in the family vines as a kid. After attending college, he found his skills, working in labs at Rosemount Estate to working harvest at Cristom and Au Bon Climat in America and finally four vintages in Burgundy at Domaine Dujac with family friends, the Seyesses’. It was the start of a transition at Dujac where Gary and Jac teamed together for so long, it was then time for the new generation in Nick and Jeremy.
