We love Negronis, Americanos and Spritz cocktails. Even just a good bitter on the rocks. Anyway, after some research into Bitter production, we found it all to be quite generic, mainly filtered town water, artificial flavours and colours. Not our style for drink choice. So we went into lockdown mixing herbs and straight liquor....read into that what you will but it eventually yielded the perfect recipe.
We replaced filtered town water with quality organic base wine and this instantly gave it more length, depth and complexity. We then blended a selection of 13 herbs and fruits, and used a natural colour.
Acobia Bitter is the result. 100% Natural. 100% Italian. Small batch Bitter.
So why Acobia? 'Acobia' is a word in Piemontese dialect that we use in the process of 'pairing' our ingredients for the unique recipe.
